Ernest Troisi, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Ernest Troisi (pronounced TRO-EE-SEE) is a graduate of St. Joseph's University and The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency training in podiatric foot and ankle surgery at the Giuffre Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has been in private practice for over 30 years in Delaware and is the founder of the Delaware Foot & Ankle Group.
Dr. Troisi is a Diplomate and is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a Fellow with the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He performs surgery at Christiana Care Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, Center for Advanced Surgical Arts and Glasgow Surgery Center. Special areas of interest include; reconstructive forefoot/rearfoot & ankle surgery, surgical & nonsurgical treatment of tendon and joints, diabetic foot and limb salvage procedures. Affiliations include the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and the Delaware Podiatric Medical Association (DPMA).
During his years of practice, Dr. Troisi has provided care to many at The Mary Campbell Center, Henrietta Johnson Medical Center and Westside Health Clinics. He has been voted in Delaware Today 's ' Top Doc' multiple times, 2005, 2011 & 2017, is fluent in Italian and is an avid golfer.
